Threadless

It feels like it has been a decade since my last post but i've been really busy working on my motion graphics stuff. I'm currently learning how to model and use cinema 4d, with somewhat success.
I also just came back from NYC; the Tim Burton exhibition at the MOMA was awesomeee.

A little something something

I was working on this at work. Its just a test run for something i might be using later in the future.

A simple animated globe. Might reuse this in the future.

A much needed update.

I returned from China about 3 weeks ago. The province of Yun Nan is beautiful. As soon as I returned i got swamped with work from my T shirt designing/production assistant job, and i mean SWAMPED. <-the reason for the lack of updates!

Since then i got a position at Tantrum; an amazing motion graphics company. This will be what i'm heading towards but expect to see more illustrations as well.

Updates

1) This is just a very short clip that i'm doing for a website. I went for a very clean and simple look to support the content that would be on the site. The name of the site emerges from the background and light rays shine over it.

I will also be out of the country for a few weeks. I'll be heading over to china: enjoying the sites, looking at the art, taking photos, and perhaps restore some dignity to my mandarin roots

Sketch Sketch Sketch

When i'm not at work I drag myself back home and try to draw. I finished this one a couple of days ago but didn't put it up. This one is done in ball point pen instead of my usual graphite. It's referenced from a random sketch from an Ingres drawing. Enjoy!

Colour Sketch!

I've noticed my illustration has started to take things and techniques that i use from my t shirt designing job. I have to hold back my urge to distress everything! Nonetheless here is the coloured version of the sketch i posted sometime ago. I'm playing around more with greys in this one. Enjoy.
